Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)

The LCA/PCF is tailored to your needs. Thanks to our experience, we can carry out from streamlined to more complete LCAs. Here’s an outline of our methodology and how we propose to approach each stage of the methodology.

1.1: Goal

The first step in LCA/PCF is to define the objective of the study. This will help to select the right standards (EPD, PEF, ISO,…) that will define the requirements for the rest of the study.

1.2: Scope

After selecting the standard, we use the right product category rules (PCR, PEFCR, IEC, …) to define the scope of the study.

2: Inventory

Based on our experience, we propose a custom excel-based tool to collect the data and generate the final results and reports.

3: Impact assessment

We calculate impacts using the inventory and standard impact categories such as carbon footprint, water use and more …

4: Interpretation

Together, we dive deep into the results to understand the causes of impact and take meaningful action to improve the solution.
